Anna Bagnall’s paintings are primarily concerned with landscapes and still life in a semi-abstract and abstract form. She works in oils, acrylic, pastels and charcoal to create paintings noted for their strong colour. She has studied with Robin Child, an inspirational teacher who has tutored many people who have gone on to lead successful careers as full-time artists.

In 2006 Anna participated in a successful two-woman show with Paddy Jones at the Old Dog Kennels, Chesham, Bucks. Previous shows have been The Armed Forces Show in the Mall Gallery in London in 2003 and 'Off the Wall' exhibition in The Aylesbury Museum in 2006.

Anna lives in the Chilterns which - along with her favourite locations of Yorkshire and Cornwall - are the subject of many of her works.
