Bridget Lansley has always loved to draw and paint in her spare time. Since bringing up her two daughters she has actively concentrated on her passion for painting in oil. She studies with Robin Child which has deepened her understanding of art and she has not only been inspired by him but also by art in the 20th century.

Her love of colour, brush strokes and texture gives her paintings a strong focus. She paints at home in Wiltshire and in Europe and her success has led to her work being hung at galleries in London and the Home Counties.

Her first client was John Lavery’s great granddaughter who spotted an oil painting in her studio. Bridget’s work can also be seen at Cricket Fine Art, Thirteen Langton Street, London SW10.

Exhibitions include the Lennox Gallery, London; Affordable Art Fair, London; Hackwood Art Festival, Hampshire; Cricket Fine Art, London; Fosse Gallery, Gloucestershire and Rosvikgallery, Wiltshire.
